The story of Naaman reminds us that healing can begin with humility, obedience, and faith.

Naaman was a respected commander who suffered from leprosy. Through the prophet Elisha , he was given simple instruction, but when he humbled himself and obeyed, Scriptures tells us that his flesh was restored.

Inspired by this powerful story, Naaman Salve was created as a tribute to the biblical tradition of cleansing, restoration, and the goodness of god's creation.

This hand crafted botanical salve is made with carefully selected ingredients for a nourishing and comforting skin-care ritual. It is a reminder sometimes the simplest acts of faith, obedience, and care can carry profound meaning.

Ingredients:

Chamomile (Matricaria recutita)

A member of the daisy family (Asteraceae). Native to Europe and western Asia. The small, daisy-like flower heads are commonly used to prepare infusions.

Marshmallow (Althaea officinalis)

A perennial herb in the mallow family (Malvaceae). Native to Europe, western Asia, and North Africa. It has soft, velvety leaves and pale flowers; the root and leaves contain natural mucilage.

Chickweed (Stellaria media)

A low-growing annual in the carnation family (Caryophyllaceae). Native to Europe and now found widely. It produces small white, star-shaped flowers and tender stems.

Calendula (Calendula officinalis)

Also known as pot marigold. An annual or short-lived perennial in the daisy family, native to southern Europe. It is grown for its bright orange or yellow flower heads.

Qing Dai ( Indigo Naturalis)

A processed plant powder originating in East Asian herbal traditions. It is a deep blue-indigo material obtained through traditional fermentation and processing of the source plants.

Tea Tree (Melaleuca alternifolia)

A small tree in the myrtle family (Myrtaceae), native to Australia. The essential oil is steam-distilled from the leaves and twigs.

Frankincense (Boswellia species)

A resin harvested from trees in the Burseraceae family. Native to the Arabian Peninsula and parts of northeastern Africa. The resin has been collected and used as incense for thousands of years.

Oats (used as colloidal oatmeal)
Avena sativa
A cereal grain in the grass family (Poaceae). Colloidal oatmeal is produced by finely grinding the oat groats.

Directions:

Apply a small amount to clean, dry skin and massage gently until absorbed avoid open wounds and mucous membrane for external use only. If irritation occurs discontinue use. Avoid face application.
